BVI company ranked high by Gartner Inc.

Luxoft Holding, Inc., the British Virgin Islands-registered company providing software development services and IT solutions globally, has received recognition by Gartner Inc. – the world’s leading IT research and advisory company. In the market share analysis report, named “Market Share Analysis: IT Outsourcing Services, Worldwide, 2013,” where Gartner Inc. examined the worldwide IT outsourcing market, Luxoft was named as one of ten providers on “Top 25 Fastest-Growing ITO Providers by Annual Growth Rate, 2013 (Millions of Dollars)” who earned market share, and one of two companies with 25.7% growth from 2012 to 2013.

The report “Market Share Analysis: Software Support Services, Worldwide, 2013” cited five “Notable Vendors” in the section high growth analysis – Luxoft being one of those five. Luxoft gained a five position increase in terms of market share from 2012 to 2013.

Also, in the report, “Market Share Analysis: IT Services, Worldwide, 2013”, where the worldwide IT services market is examined, Luxoft is listed 12th on “25 Fastest-Growing Providers’ Annual Growth Rate, 2012-2013 (Millions of Dollars),” showing the 25.6% growth.

Luxoft CEO and President Dmitry Loschinin said in his comments: “We are proud that Gartner recognized our organization’s growth in these segments and our overall growth, including IT outsourcing which is execution of managed services.”

Nam Tai Electronics changed its name and corporate identity

BVI-registered company Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. changed its name to Nam Tai Property Inc. and started trading on the NYSE under the new symbol NTP. The company announced the changes in the end of April, when it stopped its electronic manufacturing and design services business.

The BVI company announced that it will focus on redeveloping its property in Gushu, Shenzhen, and Guangming, Shenzhen, and convert them into high-end commercial complexes. The core business of Nam Tai Property Inc. will be transformed to property development and management, and the principal income of the company will be derived from rental income from the commercial complexes.

Mr. Koo, Executive Chairman and CEO of the company, commented on the changes of company name and structure: “Our new corporate identity signifies the Company’s transformation from electronic manufacturing and design services to property development and management.”

BVI company signed MoU with AMEC Group Limited and Ove Arup & Partners Limited

Last month, BVI-registered company Xcite Energy Limited made an announcement that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xcite Energy Resources Limited, signed the Memorandum of Understanding with AMEC Group Limited, the supplier of consultancy, engineering and project management services in the world’s oil and gas, mining, clean energy, environment and infrastructure markets, and with Ove Arup & Partners Limited, engineering company involved in one of the world’s most prominent projects in the built environment and across industry.

The signed MoU sets the principles of co-operation for the design, development and optimization of Arup’s self-installing, steel ACE platform for the Bentley field, and covers all aspects of assurance, engineering, procurement, construction and installation.

Rupert Cole, CEO of Xcite Energy, commented on the agreement:
“We are pleased to be able to announce AMEC and Arup as partners in our development group to progress Bentley towards production. Following on from the $250 million extended well test, this next phase of engineering will allow us to optimise Arup’s existing ACE platform design for the Bentley field and enable us to refine the costs and related schedule ahead of submitting the Field Development Plan.”
