BVI company awarded for its product quality

This week, the British Virgin Islands-registered company Nam Tai Electronics, Inc. received a Quality Supplier Award for smartphone product. The award was received by the company, working in the spheres of electronics manufacturing and design services, from the customer and their end buyer – the global leader in LCD technologies, focused on small- and medium-sized displays for a range of applications from mobile devices and other consumer products to automotive electronics and industrial equipment. The award was presented to the BVI company in recognition of its excellent manufacturing services and continuous quality improvement.

Mr. M.K. Koo, Executive Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Nam Tai Electronics, said in his comments: “This recognition by our customer affirms our excellent teamwork and dedication as well as a relentless focus on quality and customer satisfaction, and represents a significant accomplishment for our Shenzhen operation.”

China Information Technology, Inc. completes reorganization as BVI company

China Information Technology, Inc. (CNIT), China-based company specializing in geographic information systems (GIS), digital public security technology (DPST), and hospital information systems (HIS), as well as high-end digital display products and solutions in China, announced the completion of the reorganization merger. The purpose of this transaction was to reorganize the company as a British Virgin Islands company.

Pursuant to the merger, each outstanding share of the common stock of China Information Technology was converted into the right to receive one ordinary share of CNIT as a British Virgin Islands company (CNIT BVI).

Ordinary shares of the BVI company are listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the same trading symbol under which the common stock of the company were listed.

BVI company subsidiary awarded a $2.3 mln contract

BVI-incorporated company Euro Tech Holdings Company Limited announced that its subsidiary, Shanghai-based company PACT Environmental Technology Co. Ltd., has been awarded a contract by a German vehicle components manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, worth about US$2.3 million. This contract, worth about US$2.3 million, covers design, supply, project management, civil construction, equipment installation, and commissioning of 1000 tons per day industrial wastewater treatment plant.

PACT is a global provider of environmental solutions for industrial and municipal clients, especially in water and wastewater treatment. In September, the company has passed land test in China in order to get the necessary certifications before launching the Ballast Water Treatment System, in which Euro Tech continues to invest.
