BVI-registered Techfaith forms joint venture with Chinese company Dmagicmobile

TechFaith Wireless Technology Group Limited, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands and operating in China, and Shanghai-based D Magic Mobile Incorporation announced the formation of a joint venture company in China.

The new joint venture, Glomate Mobile (Beijing) Co., Ltd., will license well-known international brands through D Magicmobile for high-end brand-name mobile phones targeting fashion-conscious audience. Initial product launches are planned to be made in the fourth quarter of 2009.

The BVI-registered Techfaith is focused on the design and sales of mobile phone products and software. DMagic  Mobile is a cooperative licensee with a number of well-known international brands in the mobile telecommunications sector. It is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, the cooperative partner of a number of multinational corporations including Mattel, Inc. and several entertainment companies.

Mr.Defu Dong, Chairman and CEO of TechFaith, commented on the agreement saying this is an important development for TechFaith, which is expected to give the company a vehicle to better differentiate its mobile phone offerings in the marketplace.

China Gengsheng Minerals announced investor conference and presented new invention

China Gengsheng Minerals  Inc., making its business through its wholly-owned BVI subsidiary Gengsheng International Corporation, made a corporate presentation at the investor conference in the U.S. On October 1, 2009, the company presented the invention of the new castable product. Si-Enhanced Anti-Creep High-Aluminum Castable (SEAC HAC) is created by adding silicon and other minerals to the traditional raw material such as bauxite, so that the final product has much lower probability of creep (change of shape during high-temperature industrial processes), for heating furnaces at steel mills and other industrial plants.

After reviewing the testing results of the new castable by the Science & Technology Bureau of Zhengzhou City, the experts acknowledged its potential applications, and Gengsheng has filed a patent for the product.

Chairman and CEO of Gengsheng Mr. Shunqing Zhang commented that, after the introduction of their light castables as an energy-saving product for steel industry , the company announced the more significant innovation which has been accepted for trial use by four major steel companies in China. He said that SeAC HAC “can extend the lifespan of industrial furnaces by up to 30% and it has much wider application and greater market potential than all of our previous innovations.”

The company will make the presentation of its products also on October 13, 2009, at the ROTH China Conference at the Fontainbleu, Miami Beach, Florida.

China Gengsheng Minerals, Inc. introduced new energy-saving product

China Gengsheng Minerals, Inc., the company engaged in manufacturing and marketing mineral-based and heat-resistant products for the iron and steel industry and conducting its business through the British Virgin Islands-registered Gengsheng International Corporation, made an announcement that it has developed a new refractory product for its steel company customers. This product will cut energy costs and increase efficiency during steel-making.

China Gengsheng held a teach-in on the new high-performance thermo-insulating  castables at Shanghai Baosteel Group Corporation, which is the largest steel and iron conglomerate in China. During this seminar, CEO of Gengsheng, Vice President of Product Development and technology adviser shared product specifications and testing results with directors of the procurement department, the technology department and various other managers and in-house experts in Baosteel.
