China Gengsheng Minerals Inc., making its business through its wholly-owned BVI subsidiary Gengsheng International Corporation, made a corporate presentation at the investor conference in the U.S. On October 1, 2009, the company presented the invention of the new castable product. Si-Enhanced Anti-Creep High-Aluminum Castable (SEAC HAC) is created by adding silicon and other minerals to the traditional raw material such as bauxite, so that the final product has much lower probability of creep (change of shape during high-temperature industrial processes), for heating furnaces at steel mills and other industrial plants.
After reviewing the testing results of the new castable by the Science & Technology Bureau of Zhengzhou City, the experts acknowledged its potential applications, and Gengsheng has filed a patent for the product.
Chairman and CEO of Gengsheng Mr. Shunqing Zhang commented that, after the introduction of their light castables as an energy-saving product for steel industry , the company announced the more significant innovation which has been accepted for trial use by four major steel companies in China. He said that SeAC HAC “can extend the lifespan of industrial furnaces by up to 30% and it has much wider application and greater market potential than all of our previous innovations.”
The company will make the presentation of its products also on October 13, 2009, at the ROTH China Conference at the Fontainbleu, Miami Beach, Florida.
